How to Install TWRP Custom Recovery in HTC butterfly X920D

Hi, if you want to root HTC butterfly you need TWRP of CLOCKWORKMOD custom recovery. With custom recovery (TWRP or CWMR) you can flash many things like custom rom(s), mod(s), scripts etc. But before you install TWRP recovery in your HTC butterfly x920D you need to unlock bootloader, which is dangerous if you do anything wrong. If you do not do anything wrong then unlocking bootloader is safe. millions of HTC users have unlocked there bootloader, now its your time to unlock your HTC butterfly X920D's Bootloader. So, lets see how to install TWRP custom recovery on your HTC butterfly X920D device-


Requirements
1 backup HTC butterfly X920, including everything by any 3rd party application.

2 Charged HTC butterfly X920 (70%+).

How to Install TWRP Custom Recovery on HTC butterfly X920D-      
1 Enable USB debugging by going on- Settings> Developer Option and tick USB Debugging option

2 Extract 4EXT_Recovery_Touch_v1.0.0.5_RC5_flashing_tool.zip into any folder.

3 Connect your HTC butterfly X920D to PC and it will install driver it self.

4 Now open that folder where you extracted 
"4EXT_Recovery_Touch_v1.0.0.5_RC5_flashing_tool.zip" and open Start Here.bat by double clicking on it.

5 Now type "adb reboot bootloader" (without quotes) and hit enter.

6 Now it will boot to bootloader, when it will be in bootloader, type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (without quotes) this will flash TWRP recovery in HTC butterfly.

7 when you are done, type "fastboot reboot" it will reboot your butterfly.

8 Done.
