You can make ext partition on your device and use Link2SD. You can see how to make ext partition in SD card through CWM and then using Link2SD.

when i enter the manual mode and select update from sd card, it says installation aborted. What do i do?

Rohan Arya said...

Root your device. Install cwm recovery...it will work now

ashwin athrey said...

Yup i have installed CWM . It says the app requires the phone to be rooted. I installed the .zip file, Named it install.zip. When i enter the recovery mode, this is the option i have " update from sd::install.zip" which i select. But it says installation aborted. Just not able to figure out where i am going wrong.

ashwin athrey said...

sorry it says "apply sdcard:update.zip".
(the option in recovery mode). After i select that this follows-

"Can't open /sdcard/update.zip
Installation aborted."

is rom working for everyone? Try opening the zip...(not extract). If it displays error then it mens u need to download the rom again. No need to rename the rom.
