What you need to root Lava XOLO A500

1 Bin4ry Rooting Toolkit,            Bin4ry Rooting Toolkit XDA thread(on first post)

2 Lava XOLO A500 (No download link for Lava XOLO A500 :P)

3  Download .Android (its on .rar).
 Extract android.rar in C:>Users>YourUserName and Reboot your computer.

1 Enable USB debugging on Lava XOLO A500 by going, settings>Developer options>USB debugging, enable USB debugging check box.

2 Download, unpack Bin4ry Rooting Toolkit into 1 folder

3 Double Click (Run): RunMe.bat
 
(Note: Open RunMe.bat not RunMe.sh)


4 Press "1" when launched (Normal Mode)


5 It will root automatically and will display as above.

6 When done, press any key

7 When Rooted, then shout 'Yippee, Rooted My Lava XOLO A500'

HTC explorer comes with 512 RAM which is very nice in android and makes your gaming, applications, multitasking experience very awesome. HTC explorer's camera is also very good, it has 3.15 Megapixels camera, Geo-tagging, face detection which makes your pictures and videos very cool and nice. The processor clock is less i mean just 600Mhz Cortex A5 which is very less as comparative to other devices but Qualcomm MSM7225A snapdragon makes 600Mhz processor to feel like 800Mhz-1 Ghz. HTC Explorer also do not have many sensors but still have useful once like Accelerometer, proximity. HTC explorer's video display is not HD but 480p which looks like HD in this much screen. Requirements

~ Rooted HTC Explorer- click me to know how to root

~ HTC Explorer with ClockWorkMod Recovery installed- click me to know how to install clockworkmod recovery

~ HTC Explorer's battery charged upto 75%

~ Backup your applications, SMS and other things which you need after installing jellybean by any 3rd party application.

~ Basic knowledge of using clockworkmod recovery (UP And DOWN key for moving up and down, Power Key to select).

How to install JellyBean Rom on HTC Explorer

1 Download the Custom Rom (JellyBean) to your computer- Click Here!

2 Connect USB to your computer and mount your SDcard of HTC explorer

3 Transfer .zip from computer to your HTC explorer. 

4 Switch of your HTC explorer

5 Reboot to bootloader (recovery's option is in bootloader) by pressing volume down+Power button simultaneously until you are in bootloader. 

6 When you are at bootloader use volume keys for UP and DOWN  and goto Recovery and press power button (to select).

Note: 7th point will delete all your messages, applications, call logs and all internal things (it will not wipe SDcard).

7 Now, when you are at clockworkmod recovery, press voluem down keys to go to wipe data/factory reset  and wipe your data by pressing power button.

8 Now, go back and scroll down. Select Flash ZIP from SD card and press power button and select JellyBean 4.1.2 Rom zip that you transferred to your SD CARD from your computer.

9 Now, click go back and select "Reboot System Now". 

Note: When you will select reboot system now, please wait for sometime because the rom needs to generate cache and other data which is required afterwards so do not remove battery. Let it, take it time.

When you have installed JellyBean rom in your HTC explorer then shout, "Bye you old GingerBread, JellyBean rocks".

Hi guys  there is a great news for Micromax A110 Canvas 2 Users that their canvas 2 is overclocked to 1.4 Ghz. This is awesome effort by my friend varun chitre. He has finally managed to get 1.4 Ghz on micromax a110 canvas 2. He made this from kernel source. This custom kernel's name is ThunderZap Kernel
